Standard Applicability:This specification applies to the selection and calculation of current transformers and voltage transformers for protection and measurement of power plants with a stand-alone capacity of 1,000 MW and below, and substations with a capacity of 1,000 kV and below, for new construction, expansion and alteration projects. It does not apply to transformers dedicated for internal use of measurement and protection devices, transformers dedicated for AC operation and transformers used in testing laboratories.
