Standard Applicability:This standard specifies the test methods for residual solvents in raw silk of polyacrylonitrile-based carbon fiber-gas chromatography (Method A), colorimetric method (Method B) and mercury salt titration (Method C). Method A and Method B are applicable to the determination of residual solvents in the raw silk of acrylonitrile-based carbon fiber with dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and dimethyl acetamide (DMAC) as solvents, and Method A is used in arbitration. Method C is applicable to the determination of residual solvents in the raw silk of acrylonitrile-based carbon fiber with sodium thiocyanate (NaSCN) as solvent.
