Standard Applicability:This document specifies a method for the determination of microplastic residues of film origin in agricultural soils. This document applies to the determination of microplastic residues from film sources in agricultural soils with contour sizes ranging from 0.5 mm to 5.0 mm, and the lower limit of determination is 1.00 mg/kg when expressed as concentration. This document applies to the determination of microplastic residues from polyethylene film sources, and it does not apply to the determination of microplastic residues from biodegradable agricultural film sources.
