Standard Applicability:This standard specifies the high performance liquid chromatographic method for the determination of alkylphenolic compounds and bisphenol A in water. This standard applies to the determination of 9 alkylphenolic compounds and bisphenol A such as 4-tert-butylphenol, 4-butylphenol, 4-pentylphenol, 4-hexylphenol, 4-heptylphenol, 4-octylphenol, 4-branched nonylphenol, 4-tert-octylphenol, 4-nonylphenol and so on, in the surface water, groundwater, domestic sewage and industrial wastewater. The limits of detection were 0.04 μg/L~0.06 μg/L and the lower limits of detection were 0.16 μg/L~0.24 μg/L for a sample volume of 200 ml, a volume of 1.0 ml, and an injection volume of 30 μl.
