Standard Applicability:This standard provides guidance for the establishment, implementation, maintenance and improvement of wildlife husbandry management systems. This standard applies to wildlife farms, zoos and safari parks that need to: a) establish and implement a husbandry management system to maintain and improve its suitability, adequacy and effectiveness; b) have their husbandry management system validated for conformance by relevant stakeholders; and c) have their husbandry management system audited and assessed by a certification body.
