Standard Applicability:This standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols, classification and designation of steel fibers for concrete, order content, dimensions, weight and allowable deviations, testing methods, packaging, transportation and storage. This standard applies to reinforced concrete and mortar, including shotcrete, flooring, precast, site casting and repair of concrete with steel fiber (hereinafter referred to as steel fiber). For other fiber reinforced engineering materials, such as stainless steel fiber reinforced refractory materials, can also refer to this standard.
