Standard Applicability:This standard specifies the technical requirements for electric furnace water-cooled tubular equipment, inspection, test methods and rules, signs, packaging, storage and transportation and installation and use. This standard applies to steelmaking electric arc furnace, ladle refining furnace, mineral furnace and other electric furnaces with tubular water-cooled equipment (including water-cooled furnace cover, upper furnace body, water-cooled furnace wall, eccentric area cover, water-cooled door and water-cooled door frame and water-cooled flue and other water-cooled parts). Other metallurgical furnace water-cooled tubular equipment can also refer to use. This standard does not apply to vaporization cooling flue.
