Standard Applicability:This document specifies the principle, specimen, test equipment, test procedure, test result evaluation and test report of the top forging test method for metallic materials. This document applies to the following cross-sectional dimensions (diameter, side length or diameter of the inner circle) of the following range of metal materials: for the cold top forging test for 5mm ~ 50mm, for the hot top forging test for 5mm ~ 200mm. For metal materials beyond the scope of application of this document should be in line with the provisions of the relevant product standards or agreements.
