Standard Applicability:This document specifies the terms and definitions, basic provisions, site selection, general layout, main plant layout, fuel supply system, boiler system, turbine system, chemical water treatment system, thermal automation, electrical equipment and system, water supply and drainage system, auxiliary and appurtenant facilities, building and structure, heating and ventilation, and desulphurization and denitrification facilities for the design of power generation from by-product gas in iron and steel enterprises. This document applies to the design of high temperature and high pressure and above gas direct-fired boilers for power generation in new, reconstructed and expanded iron and steel enterprises. This document is not applicable to gas-steam combined cycle power generation technology.
