Standard Applicability:This document specifies the interoperability architecture and functional requirements of interoperability entities, interoperability route resolution requirements, interoperability protocol requirements, interoperability media processing requirements, interoperability service requirements, etc. between IMS networks of different carriers. The IMS inter-network interoperability stipulated in this document refers to the network interoperability of IMS networks of different carriers on IP bearer networks in China. The technical and security requirements for the interoperability of IP bearer networks of carriers are not within the scope of this document. The IMS inter-network interworking in this document does not include IMS-based 5G message interworking and IMS inter-network roaming. This document applies to IMS inter-network interworking of different operators.
