Standard Applicability:This standard specifies the general requirements for all types of medical tapes (also known as adhesive bandages), including adhesive dressings, in contact with the body surface or trauma. This standard does not include: a) medical tape (including adhesive dressings) of the adhesive surface of the protective layer requirements; b) the requirements of the dressing pad in the adhesive dressing patch; c) packaging requirements for medical tapes.
