Standard Applicability:This document specifies the type of sterilization cycle, requirements, test methods, inspection rules for small pressure steam sterilizers. This document applies to the steam generated by electric heating or external steam, sterilization chamber side opening, volume less than 60 L and can not be loaded with a sterilization unit (300mm × 300mm × 600mm), the rated working pressure is not more than 0.25 MPa and preset sterilization temperature in the range of 115 ℃ ~ 138 ℃ small pressure steam sterilizer with automatic control. This document does not apply to vertical pressure steam sterilizers, portable pressure steam sterilizers, card-type steam sterilizers and liquid sterilization. This document does not specify safety requirements covering the range of risks of use, nor does it specify requirements for confirmation and routine control of moist heat sterilization.
