Standard Applicability:This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, labels and instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of prealbumin determination kits (immunoturbidimetric method). This standard applies to the immunoturbidimetric method for quantitative detection of human serum or plasma pre-albumin in the kit, including manual and semi-automatic, fully automatic biochemical analyzer used on the reagent. This standard does not apply to kits for the determination of prealbumin by dry chemical methods.
