Standard Applicability:This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, labeling and instruction manuals, packaging, transportation and storage of high-throughput gene sequencers. This standard applies to semiconductor sequencing method, reversible end termination sequencing method, combined probe-anchored polymerization sequencing method, combined probe-anchored linkage sequencing method, pyrophosphate sequencing and other technologies as the main technical principle of parallel sequencing high-throughput gene sequencer. This standard does not apply to gene sequencers in which Sanger sequencing is the main technical principle. This standard does not apply to high-throughput gene sequencers with single-molecule sequencing based on total internal reflection microscopy, bio-nanopore and solid-state nanopore technologies.
