Standard Applicability:This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, labeling and instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of Free Triiodothyronine Assay Kit (hereinafter referred to as FT3 Kit). This standard applies to the enzyme labeling, (electro)chemiluminescent labeling, (time-resolved) fluorescent labeling, etc., the principle of competition for the in vitro quantitative determination of free triiodothyronine (FT3) immunoassay kit. This standard does not apply to reagents for the qualitative or semi-quantitative determination of human free triiodothyronine labeled with colloidal gold or other methods (e.g., test strips, biochips, etc.); all kinds of radioimmunoassay or immunoradioassay kits labeled with radioisotopes such as 125I; and the calibrators of free thyroxine and the quality-control products of free thyroxine to be used in the separate sale, or the calibrators and the quality-control products in the FT3 kit.
