Standard Applicability:This standard specifies the general requirements for self-monitoring of traditional Chinese medicine, biopharmaceutical products, chemical pharmaceutical preparations manufacturing sewage units, monitoring program development, information recording and reporting of the basic content and requirements. This standard applies to traditional Chinese medicine, biological pharmaceutical products, chemical pharmaceutical preparations manufacturing sewage units in the production and operation phase of its emissions of water, air pollutants, noise and the impact on the quality of its surrounding environment to carry out self-monitoring. This standard also applies to Tibetan medicine, Mongolian medicine and other ethnic traditional medicine manufacturing sewage units, as well as with traditional Chinese medicine, biopharmaceutical products, chemical preparations similar to veterinary drug manufacturers and other sewage units. The use of traditional microbial fermentation technology to prepare antibiotics, vitamins, amino acids and other drugs in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, self-monitoring of sewage units in accordance with the implementation of HJ 882. Traditional Chinese medicine manufacturing sewage disposal units to extract a particular drug ingredients production facilities, the pollution emissions of self-monitoring in accordance with HJ 881 implementation. The self-monitoring requirements for self-owned thermal power generating units (plants) and supporting power boilers in the manufacturing sewage disposal units of traditional Chinese medicines, biopharmaceutical products and chemical drug preparations shall be implemented in accordance with HJ 820.
