Standard Applicability:This standard applies to the environmental impact assessment of construction projects of land-based stationary nuclear power plants (greater than 300 MW electric power) in the People’s Republic of China, and other nuclear power plants may refer to it for implementation. From the date of implementation of this standard, the “Guidelines for Environmental Protection Management of Nuclear Facilities–Contents and Format of Environmental Impact Reports for Nuclear Power Plants” (NEPA-RG1, 1988) ceased to be implemented.
