Standard Applicability:This standard applies to the determination of hexachlorobenzene, a-hexachlorobenzene, g-hexachlorobenzene, b-hexachlorobenzene, d-hexachlorobenzene, heptachlor, aldrin, heptachlor epoxide B, g-chlordane, a-chlordane, endosulfan Ⅰ, 4,4 ¢-DDE, dieldrin, endrin, 4,4 ¢-DDD, endosulfan Ⅱ, 2,4 ¢-DDT, 4,4 ¢-DDT, endrin aldehyde, endosulfan sulfate, methoxy-DDT, endrinone and mirex, totaling 23 kinds of organochlorine pesticides, in the gas-phase of the ambient air and in the particulate matter. ester, methoxy DDT, endrinone and mirex for a total of 23 organochlorine pesticides. See Appendix B. If validated, this standard is also applicable to the determination of other organochlorine pesticides.
